With American Express Music and several experiential partners we fused art with music in an immersive surround sound and sight experience for a Kendrick Lamar concert.
To create an Art Basel-worthy backdrop for Kendrick’s performance, we transformed the free form designs of visual artist Shantell Martin into an immersive animated environment that was projected wall to wall in the Faena Art Dome.
The 360-degree visualization set the stage for a packed crowd inside the site-specific installation on the sand of Miami Beach.

THE PROCESS
Shantell’s artwork was processed from its original form and animated by sections. The resulting animation was imported into dome projection software for proper alignment with the spherical medium. All work provided was mastered in cinema quality 4k x 4k resolution.
